About the Builder Business Development Partner position:

We are seeking a key player on our Real Estate Team that has experience in Business Development. This individual is skilled in relationship-based sales and can communicate effectively with all personalities and demographics. The right candidate will assist in developing the growth of the business by implementing new and effective strategies. Also, they will seek new opportunities, propose marketing ideas, and help to satisfy customers’ needs.

Builder Business Development Partner responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Developing strategic partnerships with builders in several markets in and surrounding South Carolina
  • Conducting research to fulfil customers’ needs and to also identify new markets
  • Arranging meeting with C-level executives as well as and their sales staff
  • Assisting with the promotion of the company’s products/services
  • Building rapport with sales staff and executives
  • Grow a Builder Division that will solidify partnerships with top-producing builders in multiple market
  • Create and nurture strategic relationships with builders to provide them with solutions and tools to sell more homes, leverage their time, and increase their overall profitability
  • Create systems for trackability
  • Create a database marketing plan that drives business and relationship growth
  • Maintain detailed notes for all interactions
  • Create a technology plan to automate the process

Business Development Manager requirements are:

  • Experience in Sales Business Relationship Development
  • Proficient in relationship-sales and development
  • Knowledge of principles of sales
  • Good customer service attitude
  • Experience working with CRMs
  • Proven sales track record
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent at building rapport with customers
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • BA/BSc in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred but not required
